Clinical Image

May –Thurner challenging case using endovascular procedures to treat chronic left vein occlusion.

Step by step:

1. After bilateral vein femoral access we did phlebography (FIGURE A).

2. Trying to cross the occlusion with special guide wires and micro catheter, pigtail to measure the length of the balloons and stent (FIGURES B-D).

3. After crossing the lesion we did progressive balloon angioplasty (FIGURES E and F).

4. Stent implantation (FIGURE G).

5. Phlebography showing the final result (FIGURE H) [1-8].
